Hi Kevin - Really enjoyed your pictures of Lower Cathedral. Spent the night there in 1979 with awesome fishing and hope stay there again if I can swing the JMT next summer (2011). Hike on!

Hi Don. Thanks a lot of giving me the correct name of Mickey and letting me know that he writes on Trail Journals. I've been wondering how the rest of his hike went. I see that he finished on 9/11. I took a quick look at your journal. Great pictures, especially the one of the 'Monster Rock'.

Hi Kevin--I've been reading your journal entries with interest. I was on the trail at the same time and I think you got ahead of me (and Lucky Dog)around Aug. 20 when we went hiked to Onion Valley for a resupply. The guy you met at Sunrise Creek was Mickey McTigue aka as Ghost Ranger. He mentioned you in his journal on the Trail Journals site. Mickey caught up with us at Palisades Lake. Keep on writing and hiking! Don
